Part 1:

Every county in North Carolina keeps records of property transactions. Pick a county and see if you can find property data online. How well does that county follow each of the 8 principals of open government data?

Part 2:

After reading the N.C. Media Law Handbook, the Art of Access and The Coder’s Cause, what types of government data in North Carolina do you think might be the easiest to obtain? How about the most difficult? What challenges do you anticipate with your public data requests and what strategies might you use to over come them?
