Despite the logic behind it, it is difficult for me to conceive of bloggers in that way. &quot;Anchor&quot; to me connotes someone who is a gatekeeper for an an entire, large-scale news organization. Most bloggers are solitary enterprises, definitely not gatekeepers for anyone but themselves.
